Frequently Asked Questions.
What exactly is microdosing?
Microdosing involves taking a small, sub-perceptual amount of a psychedelic substance (typically 5-10% of a full dose). At this level, there are no hallucinogenic effects or “high,” but rather subtle shifts in mood, creativity, focus, and overall well-being.
Microdosing is not about chasing mystical experiences or finding a quick fix. It is a practice that requires intention, consistency (30-90 days), and a commitment to self-awareness. The real transformation comes from how we engage with the process, not just the medicine itself.
Psilocybin, the active ingredient in mushrooms, enhances presence, allowing us to witness our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors with greater clarity. By bringing unconscious patterns into awareness, we create the space to make new choices, break old cycles, and step into a more aligned way of being.
What are the benefits of microdosing?
When used intentionally and consistently, microdosing can help:
Regulate your nervous system and reduce anxiety or overthinking
Interrupt compulsive patterns (like overeating, self-sabotage, people-pleasing)
Boost creativity, clarity, and focus
Improve emotional resilience and capacity
Strengthen your connection to your intuition and body
Support spiritual growth and a deeper sense of purpose
It’s not a quick fix — it’s a catalyst for conscious, long-lasting change.
What kind of results do people see?
Every person’s experience is unique, but here’s what past clients have shared:
“I feel like the masks are coming off. I don’t care as much about what others think, and I can freely express my authentic self.”
“I’m finally starting to reconnect with my body and emotions. This has allowed me to honor its rhythms and cycles, and increase my energy and productivity.”
“I’ve cried, laughed, and reconnected with parts of myself I didn’t even know I had lost.”
“I no longer feel ruled by compulsive eating or emotional overwhelm.”
“I have reconnected with my creative ability again. I have not created art like this since a kid. I have even set up an art studio to keep the momentum going.”
How do you protect my privacy and confidentiality?
Your privacy is my top priority. Everything you share during our work together (even an inquiry) is held in strict confidence. I do not share your personal information with anyone unless you give explicit consent, or in the rare case where there is a legal or safety requirement (such as imminent risk of harm). This confidentiality creates the safety needed for you to show up fully and honestly.
Furthermore, you can also trust that this space is free of judgment or expectation — a place where you can speak openly and explore your experiences knowing that they will remain private.
What medicine do you work with?
I work with psilocybin-containing mushrooms (a legal, safe, and time-honored entheogen in supported ceremonial settings).
Depending on your intention and background, functional mushrooms, cacao, breathwork, or other herbal allies may also be woven into your experience to support your body, nervous system, and clarity.
Are there any health conditions or medications that could be contraindicated?
Yes. Certain medications (like SSRIs, antipsychotics, and MAOIs), as well as some mental health diagnoses, may require additional assessment or make you ineligible at this time. I’ll guide you through a thorough intake process to make sure this is a safe and aligned choice for your system.
How do I know if I am ready?
You may not feel ready—and that’s okay. But if something deep in your soul is whispering “It’s time,” that’s worth listening to. Plant medicine calls to those who are attuned to its potential and to those who are ready to meet themselves with courage, compassion, and curiosity. You don’t need to be “healed” or have it all figured out. You just need a willingness to show up fully for yourself.
Is this legal?
While the legal status of psychedelics varies depending on location, our program operates within legal and ethical frameworks to ensure your safety and well-being. We're committed to providing a supportive and nurturing environment for your journey. You’ll receive more information and guidance about this in the onboarding process.
